You can download freeware (Lite) or shareware (Professional) version of SQL Uniform program here. SQL Uniform Lite version is identical to Professional version. When starting the program for the first time, you can decide which mode to be used.

In order to make connection faster, the following JDBC driver softwares of companies have been installed in advance together with the program:

• MySQL-AB,
• The jTDS project (MSSQL),
• The PostgreSQL Foundation.

• If the downloaded SQL Uniform set-up package does not contain, then the installation of Java 1.4.1 or later runtime environment (Java Runtime Environment: JRE) developed by SUN (available for free).
  It can be downloaded from the official homepage of SUN at http://java.sun.com/ or http://www.java.com/.
• Windows, Linux, UNIX, Mac OS, OS2 or Solaris or any kind of operation systems, where 1.4.1 version of Java runtime environment can be installed.

Using set-up package:

• The set-up program guides the user through the steps of installation.

Using a ".zip" set-up program that is independent from operation systems:

• You have to make an empty directory anywhere on the hard disc. Then you have to unpack the set-up file by any ZIP unpacking program into the created directory.

Using set-up package:

• The set-up program moves the initialising files automatically into the system menu from Start menu.

Using a ".zip" set-up program that is independent from operation systems:

• The start of the program from the installed directory: by "RUN.BAT" file (under Windows) or
• "javaw -jar SQLUniform.jar" or "java -jar SQLUniform.jar" statement from command prompt.
